The other day, a friend of mine told me he has never watched the movie “Airplane”. I was shocked by this. He is in his 40’s. He was around in 1980 when Airplane hit theaters. It was on television constantly during the 80s. How did he miss this classic slapstick guy movie? Guys love great quotes and Airplane is an extremely quotable and funny movie.
This lead me to create this list of guy movies that are both geeky and KOOL. In the process, I realized I could not leave numerous movies off the list. I decided to create a multiple week series of Geeky KOOL Guy movies. This week’s list is the Top 10 Geeky KOOL Comedy Movies. Next week, will be Top 10 Geeky KOOL Action Movies.

This classic 80’s movie is early John Cusack. This movie is full of sight gags where Lane fails to take his own life. The bizarre and fun characters make this movie fun. It is extremely quotable.

The greatest car chase of all time. This movie has a ton of great music and Blues singing guest spots. Plus, Jake and Elwood are just KOOL.

Think Bad News Bears join the military. Young Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, and John Candy. The Army has never been this funny.

Star Wars is one of the greatest movies. Spaceballs fully parodies Star Wars, Alien, Planet of the Apes, and many more movies. This slapstick movie is one of Mel Brooks best movies.
