At Geeky KOOL, we don’t usually talk about sports. But this is an exception. Last Weekend the Denver Broncos beat the Carolina Panthers in the Super Bowl. The Nickname for the Panther’s Quarterback, Cam Newton, is Superman. He even celebrates touchdowns by pretending to open up his shirt like Superman.
The Denver Bronco’s star Defensive Linebacker, Von Miller, sacked Superman (Cam Newton) 2 and 1/2 times and forced two fumbles. It appears Miller brought kryptonite to the party.
Adidas sent Von Miller a pair of KOOL new shoes. These new Adidas cleats have green crystal shards on them. Miller tweeted (see below) the image of his new weapon, kryptonite shoes.
Kudos for Miller and Adidas’ geeky sense of humor. They might not know that kryptonite can now give Superman new powers but that is a whole different story.
