With a sad heart, I have to report that three celebrities passed away over the last couple of days. Cindy Williams, Lisa Loring, and Annie Wersching have all died.
Cindy Williams was an American actress who can be seen in a variety of TV and movie roles. She passed away at age 75 in Los Angeles after fighting short illness. She was in the George Lucus 50’s film, American Graffiti. Williams was best known for her role as Shirley on Laverne and Shirley in the 70s and 80s. She always made me laugh on Laverne and Shirley. “One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. Schlemiel! Schlimazel! Hasenpfeffer Incorporated!”
Lisa Loring was best known as a child actress even though she had other acting roles. Loring was only 64 years old when she passed way from complications of a stroke on Saturday January 28th. Loring will best be remembered as the cute but eerie Wednesday Addams on the 60s television series. We will remember her character teaching Lurch to dance.
Actress Annie Wersching passed away at age 45 after losing her battle with cancer. She was an actress with a lot of acting credits to her short live. You could know her from her many roles. She was one of the parents on The Runaways. She was the voice of Tess in the video game, The Last of Us. She was the Borg Queen on the Star Trek sequel series, Picard. She might be best know to many of us as FBI agent Renee Walker on 24.
I am honestly sad by the news of all three of these lovely ladies. Our world is a little less bright with their passing. Rest In Peace, Cindy, Lisa, and Annie. You are missed.
