Actor, writer, and director Harold Ramis passed away at the young age of 69. He died from complications of autoimmune inflammatory vasculitis, a rare disease involving the swelling of the blood vessels.
Ramis wrote several comedy classics like National Lampoon’s Animal House, Ghostbusters, Groundhog Day, and Analyze This. He directed Caddyshack as his directing debut. He acted in several great movies like Stripes and Ghostbusters. He is most known his portrayal of Ghostbusters’ Egon.
In honor of Ramis’ great sense of humor, let me leave you with this great quote that will give some of you a great image in your head. “Doe”, “Ray”, “Egon!”
