According to The Hollywood Reporter, DC Comics/Warner Bros is shopping around a Supergirl Television series. It appears the CW will not pick it up but they are willing for it to be offered to other networsk.
The series is being adapted by Greg Berlanti and Ali Adler. Berlanti will produce the series. Adler will write the script for the pilot episode. Comic writer Geoff Johns is expected to be involved with the project.
My daughter and I used to be big time supergirl fans. She comics started going down a weird path. DC rebooted with the new 52 and it became even more strange and bizarre. I hope they can bring back the spirit of the tradition Supergirl and capture her in a great television series.
