According to Variety, CBS has given the green light to the Supergirl Television series. You could say that CBS flew in and swooped up this series like a Superhero.
Supergirl, Kara is Superman’s younger cousin. Her Kyptonian name is Zor-El. Her earth name is Linda Danvers. She has the same powers and ability of Man of Steel. She is the Maid of Steel.
In this series Supergirl has stayed under cover and has kept her powers a secret. At 24 years of age, she embrases her ability and steps out of her famous cousin’s shadow.
This series is from Berlanti Productions. It is written by Greg Berlanti and Ali Adler.
How will this series work? Will Superman be a part of the series? Will they even mention him? Will they link to any other heroes in the DC Universe? Only time will tell.
