Marvel and Netflix have announced Krysten Ritter of Marvel’s AKA Jessica Jones on Netflix. Marvel’s AKA Jessica Jones will be the second of 4 individual Marvel character series coming to Netflix in 2015. The first one will be Daredevil but Marvel’s AKA Jessica Jones will be the second in the group with 13 episodes.
Jessica Jones is a former superhero turned Private Detective. She is in the process of rebuilding her life. She continues to be involved with the super powered community via her detective agency. AKA Jessica Jones will be based on the comic book Alias (adult themed comic from Marvel)
Ritter is most known for her roles on shows like Veronica Mars, Breaking Bad, and Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23. She has a background in both comedy and series/intense roles.
