Patty Jenkins to Direct Wonder Woman

Patty Jenkins, director of Monster, will take over the helm of DC and Warner Bros Wonder Woman movie. Jenkins was slated to direct Thor: The Dark World but backed out for creative differences.Michelle MacLaren was originally announced as the director for Wonder Woman. She parted ways with the project on Monday. MacLaren was a veteran television director but Wonder Woman would have been her movie directorial debut.

Wonder Woman starring Gal Gadot is slated to open June of 2017.
