Amanda Peterson, actress from the 80s and most famously for the geek/cheerleader comedy, Can’t Buy Me Love, passed away at age 43. Can’t Buy Me Love was one of the comical looks at the social classes in High School and Geek/Nerd persecution. Peterson was perfect in he role as the snotty cheerleader that pretends to be the girlfriend of geek to make him popular.
Amanda Peterson was found dead alone in her apartment on Sunday. Her family confirmed she died on Friday. The investigation of her death is on going. She did have sleep apnea and some other health issues which might have resulted in her death.
