Douglas Adams is best known for his Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy book series. Adams wrote another fantastic book series, Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency. Adams stated Dirk Gently is “thumping good detective-ghost-horror-who dunnit-time travel-romantic-musical-comedy-epic”.
BBC America ordered an eight episode season for Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency. The comic book company, IDW Entertainment, will create an a Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency similar to their Doctor Who series.
