Star Wars: The Force Awakens‘ Finn, John Boyega, has signed on as the lead role for the Pacific Rim sequel. We expect Boyega will co-pilot a Jaeger to fight a new round of monsterous Kaijus. I expect to see the kind of energy that he brought to Finn for this role.
Legendary Pictures will produce this film. Steven S. DeKnight will direct Pacific Rim 2. Filming is set to begin soon.
