I really enjoyed the 1991 Disney film, The Rocketeer. It is a fun pulp movie with a bit of Steam Punk feel. It is heroic and has a ton of action. It is set in the 1930s where a stunt pilot stumbles upon the Rocketeer’s jet pack outfit.
Disney is creating a sorta sequel and sorta reboot of this movie. It will have a modern day twist to the story. The Rocketeers is the current title of the movie. It will have an African-American female lead.

I love this concept. It sounds like a blast. I am eagerly anticipating watching this movie.
