At long last, Nintendo made a deal for an Animated Mario Bros movie. They struck a deal with Illumination Entertainment (Despicable Me, Sing and The Secret Life of Pets) to bring Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach to the big screen.
There was a horrible 1993 live action Super Mario Bros.movie. Since then, Nintendo hasn’t brought any of their intellectual properties to the big screen except their Pokémon movies.
