According to Variety, The CW has ordered a live action Powerpuff Girls series. Heather Regnier and Diablo Cody are writing and executive producers for this series if it gets picked up. Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and David Madden will executive produce via Berlanti Productions.
The original animated series ran from 1998 and 2005 with 78 episodes over six seasons on the Cartoon Network.
I remember watching the Powerpuff Girls with my daughter when when was young. Her and her friends loved it and I thought it was a blast. She even had two friends dress up with her as the Powerpuff Girls for Halloween. This is be so awesome to see a live action if it was the CW and it wasn’t Berlanti Productions.
