Anime and Manga are embedded deep into my DNA, fueling my heart, giving my soul its light. I have made incredible friends through them, learned life lessons, and been on amazing journeys because of them. The first anime that I knew was anime was “Cardcaptor Sakura,” a charming, adorable, and engaging magical girl show with characters that grab you, a powerful story for all ages, true magic, and yes, cute couples. Later, my mom accidentally got me the manga, my first one, and both of these versions are still cherished treasures and my favorite of all time.
The title, “Cardcaptor Sakura,” really explains it all: a girl named Sakura captures cards, magical cards with a cute staff. In the anime, there are 52 cards, like a traditional deck (two are added/created at the end of the series), each unique and powerful. Although all are fun, designed creatively, and mighty, some I feel would be more useful in the real world, and Sakura uses many of these often. But some are my own thoughts.
So let’s summon our keys with our special spell. The cards will protect us. And, with them, surely, everything will be all right. <3
