Young demigods, former gods, magicians in training, and einherjar all gather round and rejoice! Rick Riordan, my favorite author, is releasing a new book entitled, “Daughter of the Deep!” The cover was revealed at the start of June with an October 5th release date!
I can tell you, as a woman that worships these stories like one should their godly parent, I get fully engrossed in his worlds, characters, and lore, the characters warming my heart, making me cry, but then sending me in giggles with their snarky wit at many turns. My bookshelves hold all his series and although he has more been promoting other authors who write about other cultures (Hindu, Korean, African, Mayan, and others. I am looking forward to these too since they are under his imprint, but they all came out so quickly! I can’t keep up! HA). So, what could be left? Or is this story not related to ancient lore or warriors at all? This proud member of Camp Half-Blood will find out in October! 😀
You can preorder it on the Amazon link below.
You can read a sample of chapter three and what we can expect from this different tale from the author himself on Nerdist.

I will also be doing updates on the TV series of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” coming to Disney + AND “The Kane Chronicles” series on Netflix, both having Mr. Riordan be a part of the process on his company, Mythomagic. You know I will be there letting you superheroes know the dets (so we can all forget about the live-action Percy Jackson films…*shudders*)!
Use your power, my friends! Stay bold! Stay geeky!
