I don’t know if I have been as disappointed with a movie not meeting my hope and expectation as the 2006 Eragon movie. He was barely related to the amazing novel series. The novels were so amazingly told but the movie, Meh.
Disney+ now has the rights to The Inheritance Cycle. Eragon is the novel and main character of the series. Novel creator Christopher Paolini serves as co-showrunner and head writer of the project. I am hopeful with Paolini involvement, this series will be amazing.
I am looking forward to the Disney+ series but I realize it will be a while before it hits the streaming service.
