Our last post for Pokémon Month on GeekyKool 2024. 🙂 Another Pokémon gimmick that appeared in generation 8, Sword and Shield, was called gigantamax. The fields in the Galar region allows Pokémon to grow to stadium (literally) sized and get extra HP and attack damage for three turns. Some Pokémon get special new designs when they do this.
To be honest; it’s not my favorite component and I can see why it didn’t return in generation 9.
But, the bold and elaborate designs of a handful of the special ones have me tickled. 😆 So for you entertainment, here are my top 12 favorite gigantamax by design.
