“Fruits Basket” is one of my first animes and mangas from middle/high school and it is precious, teaching life lessons that stick in the depths of your heart forever. It follows a family who is cursed; when they are hugged by a member of the opposite sex (or very ill,) they turn into one of the members of the Chinese zodiac. But the curse is more than this magical transformation, but how it affects every aspect of their lives, especially family, acceptance, and love. Each member has depth to them, is raw and powerful, and is unique. ^-^

I listed my characters in order of my favorites: the 13 zodiac members, their leader, and our lovely protagonist, Tohru.
