The upcoming DC Green Lantern Corp series, Lanterns, on HBO, has found its lead for Hal Jordan. Kyle Chandler will be the high-will-powered hot shot pilot turned superhero Hal Jordan.
Chandler is best known for his role on the Friday Night Lights television series as Coach Eric Taylor. He is also known for his roles in Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Godzilla vs. Kong.
Lanterns will be an HBO series that follows members of the galactic police corps in the DC universe known as the Green Lanterns. It will focus on Lanterns Hal Jordan and John Stewart, two Lanterns assigned to Earth. The role of John Stewart has not been announced.
