One of my childhood fantasies was role-playing in the world of Middle Earth. J.R.R. Tolkien’s world-building was incredible. The book series had such amazing characters and settings.
Dungeons and Dragons got us close back in the 80s, but it was not quite the same. Now, the newest version of The Lord of the Rings Roleplaying has arrived at DND Beyond. You can buy it right here for 29.99.
The Lord of the Rings Roleplaying is designed to work with the 5E edition rules (don’t know if it fits perfectly with the 2024 rules). It is a 240-page digital book (can also buy the hardbound book but not on DND Beyond) with 240 pages of everything you need to play in Middle Earth. The book has a ton of full-color illustrations. This new version is an adaptation of the award-winning The One Ring Roleplaying game. It is designed for characters from 1st to 10th level.
