The One Eye will have a close eye on Planet Comicon Kansas City next weekend. He will be watch for Gimli, Faramir, and Gollum. Or at least the actors that portrayed them in the Peter Jackson movies.
Andy Serkis will be meeting fans and signing autographs at Planet Comicon Kansas City. Serkis was Gollum in the Lord of the Rings movies. He was Caesar in the new Plant of the Apes movies. He was in Star Wars: The Force Awakens as Supreme Leader Snoke. Serkis has numerous acting roles over the years.
John Rhys-Davies will be attending Planet Comicon Kansas City this year. Rhys-Davies is icon in several roles. He was Gimli in Lord of the Rings. He first caught attention for his role of Sallah in the Indiana Jones movies. I grew to love his acting style and character on Sliders as Prof. Maximilian Arturo.
Don’t forget about Faramir actor, David Wenham. Wenham was Carl in the Van Helsing movie. He visually stands out in the 300 as Dillios, the Spartan warrior who lost an eye.
