Happy St Patrick’s Day! I hope everyone had a great and safe St Paddy’s Day.
My grandmother was an O’Brien. Irish runs in my blood. I heard stories from my Great Grandmother about some of the attitudes and discrimination against the Irish back in the day. She had some funny stories about some of the perceptions of others. That side of my family was always proud to be Americans with an Irish heritage and I loved it.
Here is to all of my Irish and “Irish for the day” friends!
