One of my favorite thing with conventions is the panels. Oz-Con always has great panels to attend. The creative staff of Geeky KOOL is leading panels at Oz-Con this year.
Geeky KOOL staff have three panels on Friday afternoon/evening.
Editing 101 is is starting panel. Mandy Collins leads this panel. “This panel is an introduction to the world of editing for authors, writers, and anyone interested.” Mandy is the expert in editing. As a writer, this panel, Editing 101, is one I need to attend. Join Mandy on Friday from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM in the Walnut room.
The Art of Game Mastering is the second panel for Friday for Geeky KOOL. Larry aka The Professor will lead this panel discussion with his 40 years of Game Mastering experience. “A Panel discussing how to Game Master. It will give trick and tips on how to be the best dungeon Master/ Game Master one can be.” This panel, The Art of Game Mastering, will be in the Walnut room following right after Editing 101, in the Walnut Room from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
Pop Culture Trivia wraps up the Geeky KOOL panels for Friday. Are you good at Trivia? Match your wits with the group as A.J. and Shpoo lead this popular panel. “From the people that brought you Star Wars Trivia, comes Pop Culture Trivia! Pretty self-explanatory really.” Join them on Friday evening from 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM in the Walnut room for Pop Culture Trivia.
Star Wars Therapy starts out the Geeky KOOL panels on Saturday. The Ghostbusters of the Ozarks take the lead with this panel but our own Shpoo and A.J. are a part of this panel. “Last year during Star Wars Trivia, we ended up mostly talking about the different eras of Star Wars and how many of us had different feelings about each one. We said it was more ‘therapy’ and jokingly said we needed to add a SW Therapy Panel next year.” The Star Wars Therapy is in the Walnut Room on Saturday from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM.
Editing for Writers will be amazing for any writer.
13 Years of Geeky KOOL is a celebration and panel of all of our creators at Oz-Con. We are hoping for the panel to include Morgan, Mandy, Eli, Shpoo, and A.J. aka Ace along with the Professor. It has been 113 Years of Geeky KOOL which is crazy. Come join this group as we talk about the ins and outs of this geek media, how it was created, and what the future may hold. Join them Saturday in the Walnut room on Saturday from 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM
I ♥ the 80s! is the final panel for the Geeky KOOL staff. The Professor leads this fun, gnarly, excellent, and totally awesome discussion and nostalgia of big decade of the 80s. I ♥ the 80s! panel discusses “The decade of the Big 80s including the pop culture and geek culture.” Feel free to cosplay in your best 80s wardrobe and join the Professor on Sunday in the Walnut Room from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
