I lead a panel at Oz-Con for The Art of Game Mastering. The panel was attended by a group of veteran game masters. This took the panel away from my presentation into a a great group discussion.
We talked about a variety of issues around game mastering. We discussed how using and adapting modules can be useful. The discussion went to the types of players.
Part of our conversation revolved around the rules. The group talked about needing rules but also adapting them. The rule of KOOL was discussed.
This panel didn’t go the way I planned but I loved where it went. We adapted and went with the flow so it was like game mastering with a group.
