Director Tony Scott, brother to Ridley Scott, passed away today. Tony Scott directed several movies such as “Top Gun”, “Man On Fire”, “Enemy of the State”, and “Days of Thunder”. Tony Scott was known for his producing of numerous films as much as his directing.
Scott died of an apparent suicide. It appears he jumped to his death off of the Vincent Thomas Bridge spanning San Pedro and Terminal Island. Time of death was set around 12:30 pm PDT.
