At Wizard World St. Louis Comic Con, I had a few fun conversations with some comic book writers. I have a fondness for comic book writers.  When I was in middle school, my passion was to be a comic book writer.  I even wrote Marvel Comics to see what I could do to become a writer for them in the future.  There is a piece of me that would still love to write a comic.  Maybe someday but for now, I will live vicariously through others.

This is part three of my conversations from Wizard World St. Louis.

I stopped by the Lion Forge Comics Booth to discuss comic books.   Lion Forge Comics is company that focus on digital publishing.  They are based out of St. Louis.  Lion Forge has plans to release 12 new comic book series in 2013.

I met both Joelle Sellner and David Gorden at the booth.  Joelle is a writer for The Joshua Run comic book for Lion Forge.  Joelle is a well known animation and comic book writer. She has written numerous cartoon episodes including Teen Titans, to Ben 10, The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, and many more.  Joelle was exceptionally friendly and outgoing.  She was excited to discuss both The Joshua Run and her other projects.  Joelle was gracious enough offer an extended interview in the near future.

David Gorden was signing autographs on 4 x 5 cards for his Lion Forge series Bulletproof Knights.  David was focused on autographs for fans.  David did discuss his excitement to be working with Lion Forge Comics and his upcoming Bulletproof Knights comic series.

Both David and Joelle were gracious to take a few minutes to discuss their comic book series for Lion Forge Comics with me. It was my pleasure to meet booth Joelle and David at Wizard World St. Louis Comic Con.   I hopefully I will have opportunity for further conversations with both of them in the future.
