According to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC is developing a new Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn television series. If it gets green lighted, the series will focus on Tom and Huck in their twenties. They become re-associated to each other and start an investigative firm in New Orleans. The series will have a distinct Steam Punk look and feel.
I love the idea of bringing back these literary icons, setting it in their twenties, and bringing in an awesome Steam Punk feel.
