The awesome guys of American Wasteland Entertainment held a panel discussion at Planet Comicon Kansas City. Brittney Greer and Jason Brasier They discussed their upcoming series of Barker Hole and Strange Happenings.
They went into details about the different shots. Telling stories how they created shots for their series on a budget. Dave Smith MCed the panel and made sure it flowed well with questions and direction on what would be next. Chris Greig discussed using his camera experience with stills and adapted to a Webseries. Jason Knight discussed the music for Strange Happenings and how the sound plays a huge part in a series especially a supernatural series like this. Kevin Keppy, one of the actors, discussed how the cast and crew worked and the fun of filming the series.
They discussed the mystery crime drama web series of Barker Hole. It is intended have a Noir feel to it. Most of it has a golden effect of the “Magic Hour”, an hour or so before Sunset. It was shot in the fall to display the beauty the Ozarks with the change in the leaves with the tragedy of a murder.
They showed the first episode of Barker Hole. This series has not been released yet. Look for it to be released in the fall. If the series is as good as the first episode, then this series will be phenomenal.
