Last weekend, Marvel’s The Black Panther won “Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Motion Picture”. This is often a precursor to winning Best Picture at the Oscars.
The idea that a super hero/ comicbook movie could win such a major award, would have been unbelievable just a year ago. Black Panther has broken through barriers and mindsets.
When a movie is well created and tells a good story, it now has a chance to win a SAG or Oscar no matter the genre of movie. This is new and a welcome change
Congratulations to the cast of Black Panther. The movie was awesome and you all rock. I am pulling for you to win the Best Picture Oscar.
