Clark Gregg, AKA S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Phil Coulson, wants Disney and Marvel to make a Black Widow movie. Scarlett Johansson will appear in Captain America: Civil War this spring. It will be her fifth appearance as Black Widow in a Marvel movie. Gregg stated Marvel would waste a valuable asset if they don’t give Scarlett Johansson her own Black Widow movie.
In the past, Robert Downey Jr. has also came out in favor of a Black Widow movie. He stated Johansson needed a break and to finally get her own Marvel movie.
I couldn’t agree more with both Gregg and Downey. Black Widow is an awesome character. Black Widow is complex and has a checkered past. A film focusing on how the Black Widow deals with her days as an assassin.
