Who is the contest for? Great question. It is for anyone who desires to cosplay. If it is your first time or if you are a veteran cosplayer, this is for you. here is the list of categories and the cash prizes for the winners.
$25 Exhibition (store-bought costumes)
$50 Novice (beginner craftsman costumes with at least 50% costume hand-built
$100 Master (costumes which display craftsmanship and design elements that are hand made)
$25 Best Kids
Prejudging will begin at 11 am for both Novice and Master levels at the Geeky KOOL booth, near the Mid Street Stage. Exhibition and Kids contestants must sign up at the table but will be judged on stage performance during Cosplay Contest. The contest begins at 1 pm on the Mid Street Stage.
