I love to support the small but cool projects on the different crowd funding sites. Here is a great little sci fi movie projected called NEW. They have the filming completed but need some assistance in the editing, coloring, and audio. They only need $6,800 to finish it up. They need this money by April 24 so they will have enough time to finish this project before the Sci-Fi London Film Festival.
NEW is an original, 15-minute science fiction film. It tells the story of Hugh and Candace, an elderly couple who choose to be cryonically preserved (stored at sub-zero temperature) at the time of their deaths. They awaken, centuries later, to find their minds and memories intact and their health – and youth – restored. What unfolds is a drama, spiked with humor, as the two come to grips with the joys and challenges of a second life in the distant future. (Indiegogo)
