Traditionally, Sundays are often the slow time for Comic (Geek) Conventions. This year, Planet Comicon Kansas City was anything but slow. The floor show opened at 10:00 am. By 11:00 AM, I was having trouble navigating part of the show floor. It wasn’t as busy as Saturday, which was busting at the seams, but it wasn’t slow at all.
Vendors booths had people all around and buying stuff. Celebrity Row was filled with autograph seekers. Panels had people waiting for them to open.
Planet Comicon has hit that point of being busy on all three days. It was a ton of fun. It was also draining.
I went drove three hours home yesterday and then slept in my chair for a while. I was unable to do much last night other than rest. Today, hasn’t been much better. But it was worth it.
Thank you, Planet Comicon. I am looking forward to covering you again next year.
Stay Geeky!
