Disney’s CEO Bob Iger announced at a Stockholder’s meeting that they will be bundling their 3 streaming services, Disney+, ESPN+ and Hulu. You can get their family streaming service of Disney + that will have Disney movies, shows, new content, and Marvel and Star Wars along with their more mature series and movies with Hulu and their Sports streaming with ESPN +. All of these services combined can be yours for $12.99 a month.
Currently you can get ESPN+ and Hulu with Commercials for $4.99 a month. Disney + is set at $7 a month. Now all three are bundled together for a savings. There isn’t any word if the bundle will include Hulu without commercials, which is an additional cost.
ESPN + now has over 2 Million subscribers and climbing rapidly after launching earlier this year. Hulu has 60.2 Million subscribers in the U.S.A. Disney + is anticipated to rival Netflix in the number of subscribers around 150 Million.
ESPN+, Disney’s standalone premium subscription service for sports fans, now has over 2 million subscribers. Disney CEO Bob Iger announced the latest growth stat during his company’s quarterly earnings call this afternoon.
I am already a Hulu subscriber. I was looking at picking up ESPN + to meet my sports interests. There has been no doubt in my mind that I would subscribe to Disney + since they announced it. Now I have a chance to have all 3 for 12.99 combined. It is very exciting news for me.
