Back in 1977, the Doctor introduced the world to the robot dog, K-9. The first appearance was in the serial, “The Invisible Enemy.” He was also featured in the spin-off series, The Sarah Jane Adventures. K-9 will have a movie focused on his character in 2017.
Bob Baker, the creator of K-9, is involved in the movie. Doctor Who villain, Omega, is the featured villain. Not many details are known at this time.
