According to Birmingham Mail, the Doctor Who 50th anniversary special with feature all Eleven versions of the Doctor. Three of the previous actors to portray the Time Lord have passed away. They will use videos and flashbacks to include at least these three versions of the Doctor.
Steven Moffat is wrapping up the script for this anniversary edition. David Tennant has stated he hasn’t been asked yet but winked when he stated this. Matt Smith, the current Doctor, will be a key player. Christopher Eccleston originally stated he wasn’t interested but it looks like he might have changed his mind.
The most of the modern day companions have stated they will not be back for the 50th Anniversary. This means we will not see Rory and Amy Pond, Rose Tyler, or Martha Jones except in a possible flashback. There is no word if River Song or Donna will make an appearance. It would make since that Clara (Jenna-Louise Coleman) could be in the episode since she is the current companion.
I can’t wait to see the 50th Anniversary special.
