Story
The story of Enola Holmes is based off the young adult book series, featuring the same name, written by Nancy Springer. Inspired by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes characters, Springer wanted to depict Victorian England, a time when women had very few rights, from a young woman’s point of view. Set in the 1880s, Enola undertakes her own mysteries using her intelligence and self-defense training.
