The summer flop of a remake, Fantastic Four, had a sequel set for the Fox Release Schedule on June 9, 2017. Even after the movie under preformed by grossing only $56 million in the U.S. and underwhelmed fans, Fox insisted the sequel would be made. Several months later, this tune has changed.
This could be the sign that Fox is ready to deal the First Family of Marvel back to Marvel Studios. Rumors have swirled since the Fantastic Four movie tanked that a return to Marvel speedily approaching. So far, these rumors are just rumors. I predicted this occurence months before the release of the movie.
