The CW release their first promo images from series Batwoman, which will air Sundays this fall. This is the latest show in the Network’s Arrowverse lineup. Featuring Ruby Rose as Kate Kane.
If you don’t know who Kate Kane is in the comics…. well let me give you a little background.
In comics, Kate Kane aka Batwoman Of course appears in DC Comics. Kate is a wealthy heiress inspired by Batman to put her resources towards fighting crime in Gotham City.
Kate Kane’s Batwoman was introduced in 2006.
In the CW’s series it seems to be on the cards for Kate Kane portrayed by Ruby Rose to be Gotham’s new vigilante. The series, takes place 3 years after Batman mysteriously disappeared. Now Gotham, without a cape crusader and with Gotham City Police Department being overtaken by criminals, is in need of a new hero. In order to help her family, her friends and her city, she’ll have to become a dark knight vigilante.
