Jonathan Lane, the owner of the blog site https://fanfilmfactor.com. has started a GoFundMe for his Axanar Fan Film. Yes, the Fan Film being produced by Alec Peters(scheduled to start filming later this year) has spawned a fan film of its own. Interlude will take place right when the fan film “Prelude to Axanar” ends, hence the title of “Interlude”
Johnathan admits he doesn’t know much about making a film, so he has gotten the help of fan film luminaries Victoria fox and Joshua Irwin(Producer and Co-Directors), Mark Edward Lewis(sound mixing),Emmy award winner Kenny Croxton(composer) and Lewis Anderson(VFX).

The film is scheduled to begin filming in November 2019(exact date to be determined). Filming will take place both in Lawrenceville, GA at Ares Studios(2 days, filming on the Ares bridge set), and at Warp 66 Studios in Arkansas(1 day filming on the Sickbay set). Because Jonathan is a friend of Ares Studios owner Alec Peters, he was actually offered use of the studio for free. Since this is a separate film production Jonathan felt it would be better to be treated like every other fan film.
