We are celebrating the second anniversary of our website, Geeky KOOL. Drop the confetti! Two years ago we turned on the Geeky KOOL lights. We are celebrating the fun of bringing our readers geek news, KOOL videos and trailers, and original articles from our Geeky Staff.
We would like to thank all of our Geeky KOOL readers for making this a fantastic two years. We have a bunch of regular readers to Geeky KOOL. Thank you for your loyalty and moral support over the years. We also love our new and casual readers. We appreciate your time to check us out. The only thing I would ask of our readers is to leave us more comments on your thoughts.
I started this website with a simple mission: “Create a family friendly geek website to post post news, opinion and thoughts about geekdom in original articles, and share videos and trailers.” We have definitely done this over the course of the last two years.
My heart has been to bring in fellow geek writers and have them share in the fun of writing for an upcoming and rising website. We have had a great group of writers over the two years. Some of them have posted regularly and some of them been only able to post occasionally. Several of them have moved on in life but we appreciate all of their writing for us. My vision is to add more writers over the next year and to have some of them write at least a weekly column. I hope to add writers that will write about portions of geeekdom that aren’t currently covered by Geeky KOOL.
This next year will bring new challenges and opportunities for us at Geeky KOOL. My vision is for an increase in what we can bring our readers. I am focusing on ways to bring a variety and more content to this site. I envision more original articles every week along with more content in general.
I would like to take this time to announcethe upcoming Geeky KOOL Podcast/Videocast. This is still in the planning stages but it has been green lighted. One of our former Geeky staff will be returning to take charge of our Podcast. The current vision is to have combination traditional podcast and a video podcast. This will enable people to choice what method they would like to enjoy the podcast. Stay tune for more details on this weekly Podcast and how you can enjoy it.
