Oscar-nominated actor, George Segal passed away at age 87 on Tuesday March 23, 2021. Sonia Segal, wife of George, confirmed that he passed away from complications of a bypass surgery.
He has a long list acting credits including Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Where’s Poppa?, and magazine publisher Jack Gallo on Just Shoot Me! He starred in TV series like Murphy’s Law, Take Five and TV Land sitcom Retired at 35. Most recently he is best known for his role as the loving grandfather, “Pops”, on the hit TV series, The Goldbergs.
