The Starz series, American Gods, will have their new television god, Media. It is non other than X-File star Gillian Anderson. Her role was announced at San Diego Comic Con and on her Twitter account.
Look, we rarely need an excuse to post about the honest-to-gods delight that is Gillian Anderson. But American Gods just gave us a damn good reason to do so anyway.
Her character can appear as different people. The image below looks a lot like Marilyn Monroe.
