Google has been working on self driving cars for a while. The advancements in their technology are amazing. They are now partnering with Chrysler to create a new prototype with the 2017 Pacifica Minivan.
Chrysler will make 100 autonomous minivans for Google. These vans will hit the roads in their test cities of Austin, Phoenix, and Kirkland, Washington.
The self driving cars will bring freedom to people that cannot currently drive themselves. It will bring independence to people that have different disabilities. A self driving van could be wonderful for someone wheelchair bound. It will allow families with various challenges the ability get out and about.
Google is always innovative. A self driving van with Chrysler is more evidence of it.
