Happy Belated 60th Birthday (March 29th) to the best known British Kaiju, Gorgo. Gorgo was introduced in 1961. The plot is a combination of Godzilla and King Kong. A sea captain and other fisherman capture a gigantic amphibious sea creature and take it to London for public exhibition. The creature is alone and it’s mother comes to London looking for it’s child.
I am always up for watching any giant monster movie. I am so in on rewatching Gorgo.
As we all prepare for the big battle of Godzilla and Kong, we pause to wish a happy birthday to another giant monster. Maybe, just may Gorgo can show up in the sequel to Godzilla VS Kong.
