Happy International Women’s Day!
I grew up with a ton of influential women in my life. Of course my Mother, Sandra Litle, was the most influential. She taught me about equal rights for women. She showed me how women can outshine men at the same jobs. She was a strong woman who had a heart full of love not just for her kids but others. She gave me a huge appreciation for all the women in my life. She prepped me for a life time of appreciation and support for my wife and daughter.
My wife, Michelle Litle, is my life partner and the love of my life. She is an awesome woman. She is strong when she has to be and gentle at other times. She loves dearly. She puts up with me and our kids which is a huge project.
My daughter, Natasha, is growing up a strong woman of her own right. She is head strong, particular, and willing to fight for what is right and what she needs. She is a natural leader and not follower. She needs to learn when to temper things a little but I am just amazed by this feisty and sassy 16 year old.
I was extremely lucky to grow up with a ton of strong and independent women in my family. I have nine aunts who are all amazing women (and even more great aunts). My grandmothers were all strong women who spoke their minds but had huge hearts and minds. I have a ton of female cousins that were constant beacons.
Throughout my life, I have always had more female friends. Each one of them has made an impact on me. Each one a little different but showing me how awesome women are. I could fill up books with all of my influential female friends.
Happy International Women’s Day! You ladies are awesome. I am in awe of you all. Thanks for letting me be a part of your lives.
