According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Fifth Indiana Jones film could begin filming as quick as April and definitely by this summer. Harrison Ford was recently on both The Ellen DeGeneres Show and on CBS Sunday Morning talking about this upcoming movie. 77 year old Harrison seems to be all in on this action movie.
The first three Indy movies are classic. The fourth one,Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,attempted to pass the franchise onto Shia LaBeouf’s character, Mutt Williams. The fourth movie’s alien and Soviet’s plot didn’t connect to the fans like the previous Nazi fighting adventures. It is not believed that Shia LaBeouf will reprise his role as Indy’s son.
What kind of adventure can a 77 year old hero get into? We don’t suspect there is a way for Indy to still fight Nazis unless it is Illinois Nazi’s from the Blues Brothers.
