Oscar winner J.K. Simmons will protray Commissioner Jim Gordon in the Justice League movie. Gordon is the Gotham City police commissioner and works along side of Batman. It is unknown how involved Commissioner Gordon in this DC Comics super team film.
J.K. Simmons is a Oscar awarding actor. He has held numerous roles including Farmers Insurance commerials, The Closer, Law and Order, and Whiplash. Super hero movie fans know him for his excellent protrayal of J. Jonah Jameson in the Spider-Man trilogy (Raimi’s movies).
J.K. goes from Spidey’s J. Jonah Jameson to DC’s Commissioner Gordon. This is an awesome selection. I hold out hope that J.K. may still play J. Jonah Jameson n the new Spider-Man films.
