Guardians of the Galaxy writer and Director, James Gunn, was rehired by Disney this week. He had already wrote Vol 3. Now he will be back in the director’s seat for Vol 3.
Gunn was fired last July from Disney. Gunn’sDecade old tweets came back to light by some opponents to his political views. These tweets were controversial topics such as pedophilia and rape. According to Gunn and those close to him, there were fail attempts at provocative humor. There has never been any accusations of Gunn’s behavior lining up with those tweets.
James Gunn has only tweeted understanding and taking responsibility for his previous tweets. He had not lashed out at Disney for his firing. This lead Disney to discussing bringing him back. Since then, Warner Bros have hired Gunn to direct the newest Suicide Squad movie.
